Mrs. Devereux was my latin teacher at Mt. Holly High School. Oh what fun she added to that "difficult to learn " language! And who could ever forget those wonderful latin banquets and toga parties?! She definitely inspired us all! Hart was a special friend of mine. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Dear "Little George", Bunny, Hart and Bill,
I was so sorry to read about your mother's passing in the Charlotte Observer this past Sunday. I'll always remember her and the many times we visited y'all while Dad was organist at St. Andrews. She and your dad are probably playing bridge with my mom and dad now!

Mrs Deverux was my homeroom teacher and study hall and english teacher my senior year I had her back to back and I loved spending every moment with her. She often talked about her german shepard and she just loved teaching you could see that in her eyes. I know the ones that graduated in 1980 and who had her wishes her family the best and to let them no they had a fantastic mom. God Bless you all.

Mrs. Devereux was my homeroom teacher and english teacher at East Gaston. She was one of those teachers who stand out in my mind as being kind, and patient. She was a wonderful teacher who made an impact in my life. I am so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayers.

Mrs. Devereux taught me Latin at East Gaston. I think of her everyday as I teach Medical Terminology to my students. I was able to learn this language of medicine easily because of what she taught me in high school. I will never forget her. I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing what a blessing she was to so many students!
