Ms. Dickerson was my 7th grade teacher. She will be missed.

Ms. Dickerson was my 8th grade teacher and the teacher that made the biggest impact in my life. She was the most caring person I have ever met and she would do anything for anyone in need of her help or guidance. I always enjoyed her classes and the lessons she taught which will always stay with me and my classmates. Not only did she cover curriculum but she packed each day with life lessons and plenty of humor. She would never settle with a student not succeeding or labeling them a failure...

No matter what kind of student you were Ms. Dickerson "lit the light " to show you your way!

Ms.Dickerson took such good care of my children as a teacher to my daughter and as a team supporter to my son. I had the privilege of being her nurse in hospice. I hope that I was able to give back to her all that she gave to my children. To her family and to her friend Kate, I am so sorry for your great loss.

You were an amazing teacher. You always put the needs of the students first. You will always be remember for making such a lasting impression on all the students you encountered. Thank you for believing in us when no one else did, even ourselves. May you rest in peace.

We met in a school room,
I was a nine year old girl.
Ready to learn lessons,
You taught me of the world.

There was English and Reading,
Science and Math,
But you went beyond that,
to lead us to find the right path.

We traded baseball cards.
You encouraged my art.
You saw troubled friendships
and wouldn't let them part.

We made cards everytime
you heard someone was ill,
teaching life lessons of love
causing our hearts to...

I am so glad that my daughters were lucky enough to have her as a teacher and friend. She cared so much for the children she taught. She was a wonderful teacher and will be very missed.
