Not sure what to say?

Mr. Alton,Julia, John, Shelby and Thomas, a few weeks ago we were in the home of Mr. Alton and Mrs. Sarah, visiting with Mr. Alton because he was not feeling well. We had no idea Mrs Sarah was ill. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.We knew Mrs. Sarah was strong and she left some of that strength to you'll for times like these. I am Shirley London McCray 9Mack and Winnie London's oldest child), married to Warren McCray. Keep the memories of your mother with you, knowing that God knows best.

To Thomas and all the Easterly family, my husband John and I praise God for a life well lived and pray for your peace and comfort. It is a hard thing to lose a loved one, even when you know they are with the Lord. Here is an early 19th-century epitaph from a cemetery in rural Pennsylvania, which I hope will encourage your hearts:

"Weep not for me, my friends,
But wipe your tears away,
For you shall see me yet again
On the resurrection day."

With love from an aunt and...

Mr. Alton, Shelby, Julie, John, Thomas and families, I just wanted to let you'll know that I have been thinking and praying for you to get through this difficult time. Ms. Sarah was truly one of a kind lady. She truly had a way with words and never failed to say what she wanted. She could be so funny at times and gave Mr. Alton a run for his money. I will truly miss her. I know this is a difficult time for your family because no matter what age, we are never ready to let a loved one go. I...

Julie and family,

I know what you're feeling right now with the loss of your mother since losing mine just a few months ago. Be comforted by the memories you have and know they will always be with you. I know Daddy and Mama (Bill and Bettye) enjoyed their friendship with your mom and dad, and working with all of you in 4H. I know they are rejoicing in heaven today! Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Shelby,
I was sorry to read of your loss. God bless you all in this time of sorrow.

Mr. Alton and family, It seems like we were a family. My wife and I truly appreciate everything you've done for us over the 50 some years living on your land. We thank you. Mrs. Sarah is gone where we'll still striving to go. That's to be with the Lord. Keep praying and living for the Lord and we'll all see Mrs. Sarah again. Again my wife Puddin and I, Charlie Daniels, Thank you.

Mr. Alton, Shelby, Julie, John and Thomas, I'm the daughter of Charlie and Rebecca Daniels. We were raised on the Easterly farm. If it wasn't for you and Mrs. Sarah helping our family I don't know what we would have done. I thank you and your family. I'm Rose Daniels Carter. Mrs. Sarah is at rest now. You should continue with her in your heart and know that you'll see her again. God Bless you and your family.

Julie, may the comfort & love of our Lord Jesus carry you through this difficult time and may your heart overflow with the joy that comes from our Father, confident of His amazing love, His grace and of His promise of eternal life. You will see your mother again.

In sympathy and love, Suzette Simms
