Sarah Jane Fritz

As a student in the early seventies in Sarah's fifth grade class at Border Star School, I have many fond memories of the special treat of her leading us in singing as well as all the other subjects. I didn't realize music was something she had specialized in prior to elementary teaching. She was a wonderful teacher and creative in her approach to our sometimes boring curriculum.

I wish her family many blessings in their time of grieving and loss of her.

To the Fritz Family, Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother and grandmother. It always helps to remember the good times shared.

Sarah was a sweetie. I remember that she had a sign over her stove that said "The coin of the realm is love". And indeed she served up plenty of that. Her love of cooking was passed to youngest son and we are all grateful for that.
