Not sure what to say?

Jimmy, Alonzo & Ricky - You have been in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be in the days ahead. When Jean and I talked, I didn't have time to get there. I'm about 8 hours away. I love Aunt Gussie and I love all of you very much. I think often of all the fun our families had together when we were kids - that seems so long ago. Take care of each other, that's what Aunt Gussie would want - God will help you in the days ahead. Love,
Agnes (Horne) Overton

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. She was a very special person and I always looked forward to her office visits. I always tried to make extra time to visit with her. May your faith in God help you through this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have known Gussie for many years from attending homecoming celebrations at Seneasha with my mother, Hazel Branch Latture. Gussie was always one of my favorites. She gave so much of herself to Seneasha and was loved by all who knew her. I wanted to convey my sympathy to her family. She will be greatly missed.

I was priveledged to enjoy an OES friendship with Gussie for many years. A lovely lady will be missed . May God Bless. Neva Laseter Morton Chp. #110

What a very special friend to our family "Aunt Gussie" was. My mother, Sue Lipe, treasured her friendship beyond measure. They both loved Seneasha dearly and Aunt Gussie gave of herself to its work without a second thought. Surely God has placed a beautiful pair of bright, shiny wings upon His newest angel! With love to all of you

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Dear Family,
George and I send our condolences.
She was a cherished lady and loved by many in the Eastern Star.
GOD keep you in this time of grief and know you all have many friends to turn to.
