Sarah Wilkerson Lansdell

It's hard to imagine the time that has past since Sarah left us. She would be dismayed at the fate of local newspapers, and in particular their lack of attention to the visual arts world. The rest of the news, I can't imagine in her wildest dreams she would have ever thought of the world we are living in now. She set the bar high in arts coverage in print. I hope someday such grace and knowledge would again be valued. When you close your eyes you can see her and hear the familiar...

Sarah was such a lovely person and a joy to be around. We shared many happy experiences with Thor and Madelyn Laugesen, parties, gallery openings and later in Paris, KY. She was a wealth of information on the arts. I know Sarah was so happy to be able to return to her Georgia home. Unfortunately, in recent years I lost contact. My condolences to her family
