I remember Sarah and Robb from the Boylan Heights and Hillsbourgh Street days of the early 70’s. I also knew them briefly in New York in the early 80’s when they would visit on business. Sarah will always be remembered for her friendliness to everyone that came into her sphere. She always drove around in that old black Plymouth with the two dogs hanging out the windows. She knew all the restaurant owners on Hillsbourgh Street, the waiters and waitresses too. She was a friend to the loner...

Thank you for such a lovingly written tribute to Sarah's life. I was privileged to meet and come to love Sarah back in the mid-70's. I treasure her compassion for me during a difficult time in my life. I also treasure the one silver bracelet that she made for me. My love and best go to you, Mark and Eva, as we pause to honour dear Sarah.

It has been over a year now, and I still am unable to believe my Aunt Sarah is gone. So many memories, they come in flashes and make me smile. I met Sarah as a senior in high school and we both went to NC State Design School, twice living in appartments beside each other.She was my best friend at the time and over the years as our lives took us to other places and brought us back together again brief over all these years.
