Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She taught me years ago at Mesa College. She was such a sweet and inspirational woman. I really learned a lot from her and will always appreciate the time and care she put into her teaching. She pushed me very hard as my professor and I will always owe her for this as it made me a much stronger student. I am so sorry for your loss.
My deepest sympathy and condolences,
Kimberly S. Gobbo-Martinez

I have been fortunate to know two of Sally's daughters, Sarah and Emily, during their time in North Carolina. It is easy to imagine what an amazing lady and kind friend Sally must have been through the character of these women. She left a wonderful legacy and we are grateful.

I have many fond memories of our wonderful times together. Carolyn Aust

I will always be grateful for the privilege of calling Sally my dear friend. She leaves me with so many memories which will endure. My deep, deep sympathy to her daughters and family. She was one of a kind, the likes of which we shall not see again.

I met Sally when my husband and I moved to Grand Junction 9 years ago from Telluride. I first met her on the Bookcliff Golf Course and soon found out what fun golf was all about in this town! Sally was an intrepid golfer with fierce determination! And behind those sparkling blue eyes was a keen intelligence and compassion for others. I admire her daughters for their expert loving care of Sally during her illness. And I will miss Sally's delightful spunk and sense of humor.

Sally was a dear friend from our childhood days in South Salem, NY, and our reunions in later years. I will miss her very much.

Sally meant a great deal to Clee, Merri and I.
Gene Richeson

What an amazing woman. Sally had an open and caring heart for her family, her friends at home, those she met on her travels all over the world, and many she helped. She stood for all of the good things in life. It was an honor to be her friend. I am grateful for her loving daughters, who took such good care of her. I will always remember your sweet sunny smile, Sally, and I will always love you. Genie Williams

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
