Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you always, Sarah. If my math is right, it's your Douglas Adam's bday this year. You are so dearly missed. <3

I can't believe it's been one year. Sarah was one of those comet people... the ones that flash by you at least once in your life but leaves a lasting impression.

We met one time. I was 18 and a fresh face in the UAF Theatre scene. Someone started bullying me at an audition and Sarah not only was the only one who stepped in but stood up for me with such confidence I will never forget it.

I hope we can all carry a small part of her light with us forever.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Sarah. Annie enjoyed singing with her at the Fairbanks Summer Fine Arts Festival and we were proud to buy her CD. Her light will be very missed.Hugs to all her family,

Continue to give voice to the music in your soul, Sarah.

Sarah-
We soldiered-on through the reunion...the one you set up for us a few weeks before you left. We honor you and all that your brought to Edmonds, Wa. for those few weeks in 2017.
I'm so grateful that we had a chance to meet and sing/play guitar together...and laugh. Light will always triumph over darkness. Your spirit cannot be held down even in death. Rest, now, my friend for your time is yet ahead.

It was literally yesterday that I played Good as Gold in the car for my son as we drove to Connecticut. And we played it twice. And now I hear of this devastating news tonight. I never knew Sarah but through her music and the twinkle in her dad's voice when he spoke of her over the phone. My heart breaks.

Words cannot express the heartache we feel as we try to accept and understand the loss of Sarah's physical presence in our lives and community. She was one of the most vital, alive people I have known. My heart goes out to Gianna and Steve and Justin and all the many people who knew and loved Sarah. I believe she has left a legacy for us in her music and in the many other ways she touched our lives. May that legacy bring some peace to those who loved her.

Gianna, Steve and Justin: There are no words to describe the loss of Sarah, just gratitude for her life, her light and her voice. She was a joyful presence in the classroom, particularly as an APE of '00, and her musical and dramatic talents just kept growing. Our last exchange was via email about her project preserving Jim Bell's legacy which is now inextricably combined with her own. She was a gift to so many; a music scholarship at Lathrop is a most fitting tribute. She, and you, remain...

Sarah's voice reminded me of a bell. It's no wonder her godfather's name expressed the same image. I remember the first time I heard Sarah sing at a Fairbanks Shakespeare rehearsal (Merchant of Venice). Now that's clearly Gianna's daughter,I thought. What a natural talent. Much later, a summer or two ago, watching her gleaming smile and piercing, soulful gemlike eyes like beacons on the Palace stage, I marveled at her beautiful, precious essence, thinking how incredibly proud both her talented...

You were such a warm, bright, shining light, and that is how I'll remember you, dear Sarah!
