Dorothy & I send our condolences to Kath and David and all the rest of Sally's extended family on the death of my three children's last remaining grandmother. She was a terrific grandmother to them; they loved her greatly. She was a great mother-in-law to me, too!

Sally was apart of our bridge group for over twenty years. We played with her in the Pickering House, in Manchester and her little house in Hamilton and the Singing Beach Club. She was the mainstay of our group and we will miss her!..Betsy Bundy, Barbara Metcalf,Liz Loring, Paulie Loomis, Ruth West

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

The officers, trustees, volunteers, and staff of the Dutchess County Historical society note the passing of Poughkeepsie native Sarah Coughlan Pickering. Her name will be placed in our memorial book of prominent County residents who have gone before us. We extend our sincerest sympathies to the entire family.
