What a wonderful, sweet lady. She will be greatly missed. Deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

I became friends with Sally at our boarding school while we were teenagers and visited her and her family a few times in Dummerston, Vermont. I enjoyed the games the family played, her friends, the lovely countryside, the baseball games a minister organized, helping in a vegetable garden much like my father's, the chickens. I even got a chance to ride a farm horse. Sally was fun and nice, with a good sense of humor. After our marriages and children, we kept up at Christmas and birthdays...

Sally was one of my dearest friends. Our visits always inspired me and her love for her children and grandchildren radiated in her eyes everytime she spoke of them. My life has been so richly blessed by her and she will live in my heart forever.
