Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts and prayers are with you John Raleigh now and the days ahead. Always know that your mother was a very special woman and will always be remembered by all who were blessed to have known her. Rest in peace Mrs. Richardson until we see each other again!

Sarah loved people. She was a caring, giving person. Several years ago, on a very hot day, I was lettering a banner at New Hope Baptist Church. I heard the toot of a car horn, and saw Sarah driving by. She returned within ten minutes with a large cold drink for me. She had a sense of humor. At one of the Wednesday night suppers at the church, she mentioned she was going to the beach. Somebody said, "I'd like to see Sarah in a bikini". Sarah said, "No! No bikini. A thong!" Rheumatoid...

Mrs Richardson was one of the most special and dedicated teachers my children had in grade school. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone she spoke to. I know God and his angels welcomed her home with open arms. May God send peace and comfort to the family during the days ahead.

You taught me how to make fruit cocktail pies and I learned about democracy working the polls with you. I learned how to give the CAT test to third graders! You were a true friend of my family through all the tragedy mom and I faced in the 70's. Rest in peace my special friend. Lowell is a sadder place without you. My thoughts and prayers go out to John Raleigh.

She was a fine person and an excellent educator. She was devoted to her students.

Mrs Richardson ..Was a friend of the family. And she was also our daughter Crystal teacher. She always had a kind word for everyone she met. Heaven gained another ANGEL. She will be missed.. R.I.P. Until we meet again.

Sarah Richardson was so much more than her obituary indicates. I had the privilege of working with her at Lowell Elementary. She taught fourth grade. Although she was in pain with arthritis, she taught with diligence and grace. Her students received instruction guided by the NC Standard Course of Study. That said, it was important to her that they could read, write, and be proficient in math. Not only did she teach curriculum, she had high expectations for proper behavior in and out of...
