Sarah Solis

S O L I S Sarah Solis born in Houston, Texas on November 3, 1922, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2011. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Johnnie Solis Sr. who went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2010. Sarah is survived by 2 sons and 7 daughters. Johnnie Solis, Josie Lavender, Connie Stone, Margie - Mando Torres, Cathy Sanchez, Olga - Henry Jarman, James- ValJean Solis, Sharon - Martin Moreno, Cynthia - Steven Boldway and 24 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren; sisters, Teresa Ruiz, Rachel Mendoza; brother, Joe Castillo. Mom loved to cook, dance with our dad, watch her Houston Astros and San Antonio Spurs. She will be dearly missed and loved by all who knew her. SERVICES A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 PM on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North with a memorial service to begin at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North with entombment to follow at San Fernando #2 Catholic Cemetery.
