Sarah E. Stinnie
Sarah E. Stinnie entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sarah Stinnie; and two brothers, William and Gary Stinnie.
Sarah graduated from Lane High School and worked at the University of Virgina for many years. She went on to become a homemaker and devoted mother.
She will be remembered by all who knew her for acts of kindness and her friendship. She will be especially remembered for her potato salad and her crocheted blankets. She surely will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two sons, Calvin Stinnie of Waynesboro, and John Stinnie and his wife, Jessica, of Charlottesville; one God daughter, Pamela Green of Charlottesville; five sisters, Joyce, Teresa, and Sharon Stinnie, Mary Stinnie Brown of Charlottesville, and Dolores Stinnie Rush and her husband, Anthony, of Charlottesville; two brothers, James and Charles Stinnie of Charlottesville; an uncle, Richard Smith of San Diego, California; a great-aunt, Sarah Williams of Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories, five grandchildren; and devoted and dear friends, Paula White, Brenda White, Brenda Stinnie, and Veronica Jackson Halloway.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at the J.F. Bell Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Mary Carey officiating.
The family will receive family and friends at the Westhaven Recreation Center immediately following the memorial service.
The family would like to express thanks the University of Virginia Medical Center and staff.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Wild Life Center of Virginia in Waynesboro.

Scooby & Jon Jon GOD chooses those perfect angels. He choose moms and that she was a true angel and it was her time to server for the lord. I remeber when she use to babysitt with Mrs.Jackson and how she loved littel melvin so much gave him the nick name dune bug she will be truly missed.
