Sarah Turner March 9, 1969 - March 4, 2024 Our beloved mom, Sarah Ludick Turner, passed away peacefully and was received into Heaven on an uncharacteristically warm and sunny evening in March, five days before her 55th birthday. She was a skilled baker, a talented writer, and a treasured art...

Not sure what to say?

Today I thought of your mom and came to the blog to remember. She was one of my greatest tools in my mothering toolbox. She encouraged me to be more understanding, patient, organized and present. She also gave excellent book recommendations. My kids have loved the Pendragon series! There are too many blessings to count that came to me from her. I´m so thankful for her.

I was just a young mom in 2010 with only one little baby boy when I read Sarah´s blog for the first time. It was somewhere I want back to over and over for mothering insight, organization tips and recipes. Through all the years of having my own six children, I always loved visiting Sarah´s blog and always reading something that inspired me as a mother. I only knew her from her blog but I feel so fortunate to have learned from her. My heart aches for her children and they will be in my...

Sarah was a wonderful, witty and faithful lady, taken from us far, far too soon. How quickly the years went from childhood days playing with cousins (including me) in the Ohio woods, to an obituary! But she filled those years with love, patience, insight, and wit; taught and inspired many; and has gone on to the rest of a "good and faithful servant."

Your mother's writings of her love for home, children, and ordinary days always touched me. Ordinary days are truly magical. All my love to her children.

My sincerest condolences, thoughts and prayers. From a fan who loved Sarah and her writing and was always excited to hear back from her over the years from her blog posts. Please know that moms everywhere are praying for you all and please think about keeping up the blog and maybe even eventually publishing the cookbook she made for all her children. From a mom, furniture hobby painter, and art teacher in Texas.

I am so saddened to hear about Sarah. I was one of her many fans that read almost every blog post over the past 15 years. Abby, I know I speak for many women when I say that your mother was a guide and a mentor in my life. I emailed back and forth with her over the years and I cherished every word she had to say. Please continue to post about your family on her blog. We would love to continue to see how the family is doing and living on without their sweet mother. My thoughts and prayers are...

I never met your mother but feel like I have lost a friend. What a beautiful tribute to her. I am so sorry.

I´ve been a reader of the Clover Lane Blog since the beginning. Thank you, Sarah, for daily inspiration, for helping me see the bigger picture, for inspiration to be a mother who focuses on the most important and simplest things in life - Faith in Jesus, focus on family. Sarah knew what was important in life. Her words in print and her viewpoint have blessed me immensely. I´m so sorry, God bless your family. Holly Guth, Edina MN

My deepest condolences to Isaac, Matt and the entire Turner family. It was an honor to have met your Mom. May she rest in peace. Love , Russell Van Houten
