Not sure what to say?

I knew Sarah through Northwood Woman´s Club & enjoyed theater events and gatherings at her home. She was a lovely, gracious lady of many talents & happy hostess many times. She will be missed.

Sarah was my first cousin, my college suitemate and piano duet partner, and in many ways my inspiration. Although as adults we lived far apart, our conversations about growing up in Davidson County, NC, and sharing stories of family and activities, were always rich and sometimes funny. She had boundless energy, quick wit, and deep appreciation for the arts (theatre, opera, symphony, as well as the great music at her church). She also loved her children (Michael and Kindra) and...

I enjoyed playing tennis with Sarah at T Bar M racquet club as well as singing with her in the Phpc C choir. Linda Smith.

I wish I knew Sarah longer. We met this year, when I joined the Dallas Theater Center Board. I learned that Sarah was my neighbor, with her and Don living less than half a mile from our house. In the fall, I drove her - maybe an hour total - to and from a happy hour downtown. During that ride, I learned about her family - heard how she and Don drove across the country when they got married, with an ironing board strapped to the top of their car - and how proud she was of her children and...

Sarah was one of a kind! Such a great friend and mentor! I will miss decorating your beautiful home with you at Christmas and doing the "Bear Tree"....you and Don made it so much fun. I´m missing you very much my sweet, fun and brilliant friend! April

Sarah, you changed my life and you will always be in my mind. Bérengère

Sarah touched the lives of all she knew and her zest for life was incomparable. She will remain in our hearts and in our memories forever. Prayers for all the family!

I was so sorry to hear of Sarah´s passing. She was a special lady. I met Sarah at Northwood Woman's Club. She will be greatly missed.

Sarah was a wise and generous mentor to me when I joined the Dallas Theater Center board in the year 2000. As incoming President, she was BUSY, but she never once let on that she had plenty else to do. Sarah was beautiful, brilliant, warm and joyful. I was honored to learn from such an extraordinary woman. - Deborah McMurray
