Sarah M. Watts
Sis. Sarah Marie Watts, a native and resident of Mobile, Alabama. Sarah was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
Sis. Sarah Watts was preceded in death by her devoted companion of 33 years, Frank E. Lee, mother and father, Nathan and Sarah Watts, brothers Nathaniel and Raymond Watts, sister Christina Buford, and niece Percenel Burroughs. Sis. Sarah Watts confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church under the pasturage of Dr. Harry B. Pugh Senior until her health failed.
She leaves to cherish her memories two devoted daughters who adored her, Ms. Celena Watts and Mrs. Courtland (Donald) Sligh both of Atlanta, GA, one devoted sister and best friend Ms. Janie Patrick of Whistler, AL, two devoted brothers Mr. Van(Georgia) Watts of Eight Mile, AL and Mr. Johnnie Watts of Des Moines, IA; one devoted stepmother Lottie Watts of Eight Mile, AL, two sisters-in-law Linda Watts of Whistler, AL and Brenda Watts of Mobile, AL, five grandchildren Keandrea (Tarius) Jacques, Destiny Watts, Taila Sligh, and Aiden Sligh all of Atlanta GA, and Michael Patterson of Eight Mile, AL, four great-grandchildren Zamarea Watts, Zaniya Jacques, Zionna Jacques, and Tarius Jacques, Jr., all of Atlanta, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour at Central Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Harry Pugh Pastor and Officiating minister. Interment will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery, Whistler, AL.
