When I first met her I knew she is someone special. Somebody who you don't meet every day probably just one time in your life. She was like and angel on Earth, a special gift from God and I'll allways be gratefull to have her and Kay in my life. They were a unit of unconditional love. It was an amaizing jorney to walk with them for a little while and collect memories together. I wish everybody could have somebody like them in their life.

To my great regret, I met Bootsie a very few times, but found that I was at home with her immediately, without reservation. The fact that my long time friend Kay loved her so much speaks volumes about what a singularly valuable person she was. Kay, it seems as if the only reward you get for paying all those dues is the opportunity to pay more dues. Stay strong, and I love you.

I almost loved you as another parent and you loved me back. I will always remember the things you did for me in life and I will charish them even after your death. I wish you were still alive and that was said from my heart. I will always remember you, and feel bad for your famly because they lost such a wunderful person.

Dear Kay and Adam,

I loved meeting you 3 in Seattle, sometimes sad with all the losses you all already weathered, fun in the Sukkah at Shefarm , playing in your Garden, seeing your "just married" mugs-- Women talk in the back yard --- lots of real life.
My heart is with you both. May Bootsie's gifts be as real as the heartbreak -- or is it all the same?

Bootsie was one of a million souls if we are ever so fortunate to have the pleasure to meet. She always looked at the positive side of life and loved everyone around her. Her quick wit entertained me, and I always felt comfortable around her. She loved her family and enjoyed life to it's fullest, the rest of us can learn to live our lives with so much love from her.
