Sarkiss Carapetian Obituary
On Saturday, January 5, 2002, SARKISS CARAPETIAN of Upper Marlboro, MD; beloved husband of Helen B. Carapetian; loving father of Helen C. Fieldson, Armine C. Koundakjian and Armen Carapetian; father-in-law of Dr. Thomas Fieldson, Varoujan Koundakjian, and Nadya Carapetian; grandfather of Stephanie Fieldson DeFilippo, Gregory Fieldson, Christine Fieldson Ashrafzadeh, Sevag and Lalik Koundakjian and Ani Carapetian Gaylor. He is also survived by three sisters and three great-grandchildren. Friends received on Thursday at THE HUNTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3035 Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, MD from 6 to 8 p.m. Service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2001 at the Soorp Khatch Armenian Apostolic Church, 4906 Flint Dr., Bethesda, MD at 10 a.m. Interment St. Thomas Church Cemetery, Croom, MD. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Armenian Educational Foundation, 600 W. Broadway, Suite 130, Glendale, CA 91204.
