Not sure what to say?

I think of Struble still quite often. He was the only guy kind enough to let me, a girl, be on his league basketball team at Caserme Ederle in Italy. We never won a game, haha, but we sure did have fun playing basketball! I miss him dearly. Sending many hugs and blessings to all that knew this amazing human. Sky Soldiers, Airborne!

Thank you for your unfailing generosity and kind heart. My JAG CORPS PARTNER, without you I don’t think I would have ever made it through basic training you were THE BEST. Although you are not with us, you are forever missed and never to be forgotten. Rest in peace my forever friend

missing you today

To the family of Spc. Sascha Struble:
Please know that just as your loved one remains in your hearts and minds; his sacrifice, and that of your family, remains with the people he died defending. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for his bravery and selflessness, or the heartache we feel for your loss. God bless and keep you always.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sacha Struble when I was on AT to SETAF at the JAG office. He was just arriving from Korea and I was immediatley struck with his kindness, maturity, and responsiblity for such a young man. I was blessed with the opportunity to get to know him a bit on a trip to Venice. I recalled thinking when I went home after that AT that if my sons grew up to be as respectful as Sacha, I would be a lucky man. You are not forgotten.
