SATOSHI "SATT" OISHI

I am just coming upon this news, albeit many years later. Was saddened to learn of Satt & Jeanette's passing, but seeing he lived a long life, and being privileged to have been a part of it, I am only honored and humbled to have know such a fine, unique individual. I was a "junior" engineer when I came to E&K in 1978. Hired by Tom McHale, but mentored by Satt personally, he took the time to teach me personally the finer aspects of structural engineering, that before computers took over but...

Satt, God bless you and Jeannette. You were a tremendous role model and inspiration to your professional colleagues and it was an honor and privilege to have known you.

I will always fondly remember you as a dear and very special friend.

So sorry for your loss. We all are looking forward to the day when God's promise at John 5:28 will come true for all the ones we've loved and lost.
