Not sure what to say?

Dear Marcia, I was talking to my mother about my childhood in Kenya and I told her that I had wonderful memories from our safari tours with you and with Saul. As I searched the web to find more information about you I read the sad news of him passing away on 2014. Saul was a very special ,kind person and had a great sense of humor. I have wonderful memories from tours you both arranged for us in Kenya. I wish you health and strength. Yuval Oded

Marcia,

Pat and I just heard about Saul. He was a great friend to all and great father to the kids. We are very sorry for your loss. Deepest regrets.

Hi Marcia,
Leonie Crawford (jr) here. My father Ralph passed away 5 years ago and I miss him every day. He dearly loved you guys and when he wasn't with you, spoke of you often. I remember you so well, the time we spent with you on the back porch overlooking the gorge at your gorgeous home in Kenya, the talks into the night at the flat in Paris. My dad would light up and talk all night with you and Saul, pipe in hand......
Through their memories and discussions of you and time spent...

Marcia,
I was sorry to hear about Saul. In the brief time I knew him he made quite an impression on me, he was a special person. My condolences to you and your family

I am so sorry to learn of Saul's passing. I will miss his wit immensely as well as his humor. I hope God knows what he's in for. Godspeed, Saul. I will miss you greatly!

I'm glad I got to meet him, he truly was a memorable man. We are so sorry for your loss.

Marcia,
My deepest condolences and heartfelt hugs to you and the girls. May Saul find peace in his ever-after. Love, Kristi (Linda's daughter) and family

Dear Marcia, You and the entire Gordon family are in our thoughts, Saul was a interesting presents in our lives. we send our condolences, Selma and Jerry Lotenberg

Very sad to lose someone who had a wonderful combination of hardened wit (in the British sense) and a real, not faked, gentlemanly quality. Very hard to pull off, but he did.

Aside from other extremely rare sightings of this sly bird, I ran into him several times on West 58th Street during my partner's illness when she was at Roosevelt Hospital; and there Saul was complete in his sympathy.....honest and direct. I will not forget that, nor him.
