Not sure what to say?

Saul was the vice-principal of Lewis Jr. High when I attended the school 1977-1980. I remember him as a kind, fair-minded presence at the school, who clearly cared about education and about running an institution that helped kids realize their potential to contribute positively to the world. Saul was not my teacher. He was a step removed: a guy who made it possible for my teachers to teach. This seems like a very worthy way to spend one's time, and I'm grateful to him for it. I think of him...

Saul, Thinking of you in heaven and knowing you are in a better place. I will always remember you for the inspiration you gave to my 4 children when they were at Lewis Junior High. I miss seeing you run the hills of Del Cerro. Love you. Love, Phyllis Spital xo

Mr. Wolf was such a great example of a great leader. He was my Vice Principal in Jr. High at Lewis. He will be very much missed. I thank him for all he did for me and his gidence through Jr. High.

This was an awesome guy. I remember he kept me in line in Jr. High school at Lewis 1984/85. I remember seeing him exercise around Del Cerro. We need teachers/leaders like this, unfortunately we can't ever replace him. I'm so sorry to the family this was a great man.

The passing of Saul Wolf was the worst news. He was a wonderful man and treated all four of my now adult children with compassion when they were at Lewis Junior High. He was understanding and a great VP. I will always remember him walking daily, the hills in Del Cerro for exercise, and thinking what an inspiration he was! He will be greatly missed and will forever be in my heart. Love, Phyllis Spital :(

Mr. Wolf was my social studies / Eng. teacher in the 7th grade at O'Farrell in 1959. I vividly remember him. He was simply a great teacher. Must have been to be able to recall him nearly 60 years later. Condolences to the family.

Both of my children were students at Lewis Junior High School when Saul was Vice-Principal. He was a breath of fresh air at a tumultuous age in children's lives. He was fair, concerned, supportive and always available. He showed wisdom, calm and caring when teens and parents alike needed it. I am forever grateful to him, will light a yarzeit candle, and will keep him in my prayers.Dr. Nancy Reynolds, mother of Randi and Ron Skolnik
