Saundra Zirker Maeser

I was saddened to hear of Saundra's passing but happy that she is reunited with her beloved Earl, with only a four month separation and her other family members as well. While serving with Earl at the Genesis Youth Corrections Center and working with him at DCED I became friends with Saundra and Earl loved her so much! When I was called as Grant Stake Patriarch, Saundra and Earl sweetly allowed me to visit them and learn about my new calling. Earl was sad to no longer serve but graciously encouraged me. Saundra gave me the recording devices and the chair covering she had made to hold the microphone. I continue to use it for each blessing I give and think of both of them each time. I admired their example for many years and I have been deeply saddened to see their health decline so dramatically. Gary Blake
