I´m so, so sad. I did not know that Sandy was gone. I was just thinking of sending her flowers out of the blue but I googled to see if I still had the right address. Such a kind, caring, empathetic, thoughtful, brilliant, learned and wise teacher and I was so honored to be friends with her. I have a granddaughter who is 3 now, and I am constantly thinking about Sandy and Learning Community, and WWSD-What Would Sandy Do? She was a huge part of my children´s life and mine-4 kids at Learning...

Sandy was a great teacher. I loved working with her at The Learning Community in Westport. She was a gifted Educator of young children and an inspiring staff member and co-teacher.
