Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home - Hampton Obituary

Our beloved Savion Cortez Williams was born on January 9, 2001, to the proud parents of Samuel Lee Williams and Marvette Lachone Highsmith in Newport News, Virginia. Savion lived his life to the fullest until his purpose here was complete. He was tragically taken away from us.

Savion was a loving person and enjoyed watching Tik Tok videos, YouTube interviews, playing video games, and being around real friends. He graduated from Menchville High School. Following behind his brother Takari R. Highsmith, he went on to do various jobs. The one job that meant the most to Savion was the family business also known as E&G vending, owned by his grandmother Eulene McCoy.

Savion loved dogs and was always willing to learn something new. He was a thinker and loved eating junk food. He mostly loved honey buns. He played football in the rec league.

He leaves behind his mother, father, brother, two nephews (Carmelo and Zayden), a large circle of relatives and lifelong friends.

“I know I will be missed but I will truly miss my family & friends.”

The viewing will be on Friday from 4 to 6 pm on September 22, 2023, at Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home. 4304 Victoria Boulevard, Hampton, VA 23669.
