Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home - Perryton Obituary


Sheets, S B from Spearman, Texas went to be with his Lord on March 12, 2018. 


Visitation with the family will be held at the home of Claude and Jo Nell Sheets


Located at 525 S. Bernice in Spearman on Thursday March 15, 2018 from


5:00 to 7:00 PM.


Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 16, 2018


at The Church of Christ in Spearman with Pastor Trent Tanaro officiating. 


SB was born January 1, 1930. He was one of twelve children born to Claude and Nannie Sheets.  


He attended school in Spearman, served as Army Sgt. in the Korean War, and was a well-respected farmer and rancher.


SB was known for his good-natured humor and wit. He was a practical joker who loved a good game of 42.


Being affiliated with Adobe Walls Cattle Company was one of his greatest joys. 


He is preceded in death by his  parents, daughters, Rebecca Ann and Karen Elizabeth.  


Survivors include daughters , Sharon Colleen Lesly and husband Richard, Sue Ellen Felder and husband Randy, five grandchildren, Jessica Bost, Lauren Felder, Austin Felder, Jeff Lesly, Glen Lesly, Melissa Lesly, Travis Durham and family.  He is also survived by four great- grandchildren Donavan Felder, Gabriel Bost, Emma Harshbarger and Ellie Harbarger, as well as multiple nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by brothers, Willis Sheets and wife Nelda and Claude Sheets and wife Jo Nell. 


Memorials in memory of SB may be to Hansford County 4H Association, 23 NW Court, Spearman, TX 79081.

Uncle SB always had a smile and a unique laugh.
I always enjoyed the time spent at his house when I was a kid.

Dad was a wonderful man. He was kind and gentle. He was well respected man in the community.
He valued people for their love and kindness.
He will me be missed. There are very few as good as SB.
