Schley Babin Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jeannine , and his son, Joe.
His is survived by his daughter, Susan and her husband, Lee, his grandchildren, Lee, Heather, Grant, Jessica, Beth, Charlie and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 3410 FM 1960. Donations may be made to the humane society.

Schley told me that one of the happiest times of his life was when he and his uncle would set up on one of the busiest highways going from Louisiana to Mississippi and sell produce on the side of the road. He said he learned more about people doing that than at any other time of his life. Must have worked. He was the most successful and effective Vice President Halliburton ever had over the most productive and profitable region that Halliburton ever had or ever will have. Schley was basically a very good man and much more religious than one would think. He loved people and he loved his family. I miss him a lot.

A fabulous laugh, fantastic wit and quick with an anecdotal story. Schley has mentored more folks with an entertaining common sense way, than most will know. We will miss his company, God's speed, Schley Babin.
