Scot Schwartz

Lois and I are terribly saddened by his passing. Truly a joyful, wonderful person we will always remember.

Scot was a student of ours at Baker University, a colleague of our daughter, Gretchen, at Baldwin High and at Baker. We adored from our first meeting and very proud of him throughout his life. His friendship with Gretchen has been beautiful to witness all these years as has been his kindness to us. His courage through his illness was remarkable and we are proud and honored to have known and loved him in our lives. Love and sympathy to all who loved him. Drs. John & Susan Buehler

While on a Baker University Concert Choir spring tour in 1987, Scot and I met on a bus after he informed me I couldn´t recline my seat because of his long legs. After that first wacky conversation, I knew I´d made a friend for life. We were bonded by music and so many other things, and partnered for a short stint as professional wedding singers. In am so sorry that Scot has slipped away. He was such a kind, talented person. I feel honored to have known him!! He will be missed by many!!

So shocking to hear the passing of this loving, smiling, kind, welcoming, cheerful giver of hope and compassion man. Short of words but we believe you are with your Heavenly Father. His hearty laughter, jokes and comments that were shared with my family is forever in our memory. Condolences to the family.
