Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry, I never knew you were gone so quickly as I just found out by this evening. I kept wondering where were you since ever. Scot is only one great customer. Your mail carrier!

What an amazing musician, talent and collaborator. I treasure my times with Scot and the joy we shared while working together. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

You were so funny in high school... I remember you and how you use to make me laugh
we will miss you

Scot playing & conducting Chicago at WSU

Sadly, I did not hear about Scot's death until last evening, when I was talking with another WSU Theater Orchestra member. Scot was such a tremendous musician, with a huge-talent in musical theater. Scot was a superb show-conductor and could turn every performance into a wonderful experience for not only the audience; but, all of those involved in the production, especially his show orchestras! Every rehearsal and show was always a lot of enjoyment, just soaking up his humor and kindness to...

Scot and I in Grey Gardens

Friend and colleague who was one of a kind. Hilarious, intelligent, and a gifted musician. Loved loved working with him. My heart is heavy. Condolences to his family and friends.

While I did not have the pleasure of knowing Scot, I enjoyed his work a great deal. Surely we lost a great talent and mentor.

My mom had Scot as a gym student at WHHS for tennis class. I am sure a tennis racket wasn't his best sting instrument , but he gave it his all and was a good student none the less.

Sending much love and comfort to the family, especially Stacey and Kathryn. Missed seeing Stacey last night at the CSO. The music was outstanding!

We are greatly saddened to hear this news of Scots passing. He was a bright star with an incredible amount of talent and ability to teach. As my daughter's first vocal coach and very influential in helping her get into her performing arts HS in NYC, we are forever grateful and will miss him dearly.

Our sincere condolences to his family and friends!
The Muench Family

My heartfelt condolences to Scot's family. He was a beautiful light in a sometimes dark world. I am lucky to have experienced his talent and joy even if just for a short time. He will be missed by so many. Sending love and light.
