Not sure what to say?

Those of us who owe much of who we became in life to St. Stephens -- and who followed our school's struggles to recreate its identity -- know how much we all owe to The Rev. Scott Field Bailey. His heart is known to each of us who met him, and to heaven. Thank God for the gift of him and for all the good he did with his thoughtful, creative, and energetic life.

The Heavenly Father has called home some very special souls in the last few days. The Rev Bailey will enjoy working with the Pope on some very special projects in heaven. Our thoughts and prayes are with his earthly family. That old song "When we all get to Heaven" comes to mind.

Love Always,
Barry McNair

Dear Evelyn and family,
Please know how much Scott Field has meant to Nicholas and me all of these years. He was truly a kind, great man who embodied the love of God and constantly demonstrated his love and concern for people. He will be missed by the world. Thank you, Scott Field.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I remember the wonderful times at the house on Mandell in the late 60s with Sarah and Evelyn and the Bishop. So many fond memories that will live forever in my heart. I am so grateful and blessed to have known you all...

Dearest family of a dearest man, I can not tell you how very much Rev. Scott Field Bailey meant to me and my family. Robert always loved it when he could be crucifer when Bishop Bailey came to the church. Scott Field was there at almost every major event in our family and we shall sorely miss him. He was unable to be with us for my...

It has often been said that the apple does not fall far from the tree. Certainly this is the case with the Baileys. I have known Scott Jr. for such a long time as a wonderful, extroidinarily kind person...his father must have been among the very best ever! We should all celebrate their lives everyday.
