One day when Scott was in third grade at Oyster River Elementary School, I was having a reading conference with him. I was modeling how I think while I read. I told Scott that I was having trouble sleeping the night before because I kept trying to figure out how the problem in the book would be solved. I went on for some time with him about the possible solutions. I thought that I had done a thorough job. Scott's response to me with an adorable twinkle in those blue eyes was, "Mrs....

I remember Scott and Matt very well. They were a joy to know -- full of spirit and interested in learning.
