Not sure what to say?

Dr.Bronleewe was my mothers surgeon back in 2008! I remember what a serious yet down to Earth and caring doctor he was. One time, my mother didn't feel she was ready to be operated on. I remember speaking with Dr. Bronleewe afterwards, and he was perfectly fine with my mothers' decision. Some surgeons would have been upset that the person was wasting their time, but Dr. Bronleewe was understanding and nonchalant. I also remember in the course of me and him talking that he referred to my...

My goodness. This is truly heartbreaking. My condolences to the family. Scott & I joined the UCH staff the same year, way back when........ It has been a true pleasure getting to know him over the years. What I remember most, is sharing the grief after the loss of a dear lady the first year we worked together. His care for patients was real and tangible, with a deep and sincere desire for their well being and recovery. There will never be another like Scott Bronleewe. We love you...

I was just shocked to learn of this brilliant cardiac surgeons passing. I worked with him in the 1990s at UCH and I have never met in my medical career before or to this moment such a kind, gentle and compassionate surgeon. He treated everyone with mutual respect and had an ability to put everyone at ease even in the most stressful environments of cardiac surgery. My sincere regrets to the family for this tragic loss of such a fine human being. Gods blessing on him and his family.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Scott when he was a surgical resident at TGH. He was a talented surgeon, calm, compassionate, & a pleasure to work with. Always willing to help and share his knowledge. RIP Scott
