Scott Matthew Churchill of Rocky Hill, CT passed away unexpectedly on Friday September 12, 2025, at the age of 58. Scott was born on March 27, 1968, to the late Wallace H. Churchill and Anna S. Churchill of Rocky Hill, CT. Scott was a lifetime resident of Rocky Hill. He was a graduate of Rocky Hill High School and the Porter and Chester Institute where he studied technical design.
Scott enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, military history and was an avid Karate enthusiast. Scott’s Karate training led him to obtain the level of second-degree black belt. Scott enjoyed music and loved playing guitar. He was employed by Stanadyne Corporation as a Designer and later worked for the United States Postal Service.
Scott leaves behind his brother Glenn Churchill and his wife Leona of Portland, CT, nephews Eric Churchill and his wife Katie and their children Sam and Ellie. Nephew Steven Churchill
and his wife Sarah and their children Luca and Leo.
There will be a celebration of life honoring Scott’s memory at 11a.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025 at the Giuliano-Sagarino Funeral Home at BROOKLAWN Funeral Home, 511 Brook St. in Rocky Hill. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, Rocky Hill. Family and friends are invited to the Funeral Home on Friday from 10-11a.m.
