Not sure what to say?

I knew Scott for nearly 10 years through my service at Langley AFB as an Air Force reservist. He was always a quiet by extremely competent guy,who knew his business inside and out. Scott knew the newspaper business in particular and journalism in general inside and out. I will miss him a great deal.

May God embrace the Clough family and grant them strength and comfort through this very difficult time. Though I didn't know Scott well, I was acquainted with him enough to know without a doubt he was a valued member of the Air Force Public Affairs team.

My very best wishes to all grieving family members and friends Scott left behind.

From the U.S. Navy's Journalist community, our deepest sympathies to Scott's family and friends. The exceptional progress Scott's team had been making on their widely distributed publication was noted in Washington.
We are all saddened at his loss. Very respectfully and sincerely, D.L. Lovato, JOCM(SW), United States Navy, S.E.A. to the Chief of Information, Navy Pentagon.
