To his children bree and Cameron my condolences I am very sorry for your loss. I know it's been about 4 months since he passed so I'm not sure if either of you will read this but if you do I would really appreciate it if you would contact me. Scott was so wonderful to know - sweet, kind, compassionate and a model of servant leadership. We first crossed paths as colleagues and then later at the Portage Dog Park. He was never too busy too help someone, whether a patient, colleague - he always offered a hand to anyone he saw struggling or in need of assistance. He touched the hearts of all who knew him. He was an Angel among us and now an Angel for eternity. My heart goes out to his children and family. May his memory be a blessing.

I have fond memories of Scott during our time at Olivet and years after. This is so heartbreaking. I am praying and will continue to pray for the family and especially for Bree and Cameron. May God bless you all with peace in this difficult time. Sincerely, Deb (Gibula) Schaefer

Scott was my next-door neighbor as a young boy and later as father of his precious children. God placed Bree and Cameron in his life and he did an awesome them job raising them. They needed a father and Scott needed them. Gone too soon and forever missed.

So sorry for your loss of dear Scott. He touched so many lives and will be truly missed. (Psalms 94:19)
