The squirrel family was in the oak tree, the turtles were in their habitat and the bass were in the fishing hole when Scott passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. He loved hunting and fishing, wildlife photography and exploring the back roads. He called it "having adventures". The good times were so good. His working years were spent as a welder/fabricator and millwright. He loved his work. He had skills and took pride in his accomplishments.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Jean Penney Cox. He leaves his wife Sue, brothers Kenneth and Gary Cox, father Calvin Rowen Cox and 3 generations of nieces and nephews. Lakewood Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements; private services will be at a later date.
