I met Scott 26 years ago today. We were hired the same day by Delta Air Lines. Scott was my " study-buddy" and I would not have made it through the 727 engineer school without him. I miss ya buddy. You are loved by MANY !!! This photo is Scott landing in St Martin 2022

It's with great sadness I heard of Scott's passing away. He and I flew many a turn around on the MD-88. It was always a pleasure being around him,He was a great pilot and a great man. He will be greatly missed.

Christina, So sorry to hear the news of Scott. He was one of my favorite guys to fly with on the Maddog. Always a true professional and made my day better when we flew together. Please accept my condolences. I will miss him.

Dear Christina and Family, I am deeply saddened to hear of Scott's passing. I admired Scott and always enjoyed flying with him. I met Scott in August, 2015, when we flew a Maddog to Queretero, Mexico. On our return flight, we were plagued by mechanical issues and delays; we enjoyed a lot of laughs together and I got to know Scott's easy, infectious grin and dry sense of humor. In 2019, a woman had a psychotic episode and fell unconscious on our flight from Atlanta to...

Christina, My most sincere condolences on your loss. I will simply echo Bill Botellas comments. Scott was on the top of my list when it came to favorite pilots to fly with. I will not forget our "talks" ,his wry wit and humor , and his smile. He was a natural in the Cockpit. Our world will be slightly lesser with his passing, but ALL the lives he touched will be that much more Rich for the experience of knowing him. I will miss him.

Christina, Please accept my condolences and my prayers for the loss of your husband, Scott. Scott and I flew together often on the MD-88. While I held Scott´s flying skills and exemplary professionalism in high regard, what I treasured most about Scott was his solid character, his dry humor and the counsel of of his sound reasoning in our many discussions. Scott will be dearly missed. Bill Botella.
