Not sure what to say?

Scott's mentor at Castleberry High School, Charles Duke, passed away, age 94, Easter Sunday, 2024. Charles was choir director and all around master for Castleberry Acapella Choir. They traveled all around the world, and part of Scott's inspiration in life and music and being active with TCC Turtle Creek Chorale, stems from Charles Duke's life influences... a world and generations are passing.

First met Scotty when he was 17 and had a broken leg, if I remember correctly it was from a ski trip with the Castleberry Choir and Charles Duke. Hard to grasp that Scott has been gone for eleven years already... loving memories

What with our society in "shelter in place" these days, and noting anniversary... I can truly not believe Scott's been gone nine years? Photo attached he was probably early 20s... I first met Scott when he had a broken leg from a ski trip, I think it was with the Castleberry choir... and Mr. Charles Duke. Mr. Duke and Joe Don Conger live just off of Camp Bowie, near the West 7th area, doing well in retirement. Scott always held Mr. Duke with reverence, and then of course Scott's years...

Never forgotten!

There is not a day that goes by that we don't remember the fun and cherishing memories that we have had with Scott.

I am Craig's oldest niece and I have seen him make the most of his life and I am proud of him! We all miss and love Scott so dearly! Until we meet again!!

Wow. I was so surprised when this popped up on my email. But I too, ride by Arkansas Lane and think of Scott and his friendliness and helpfulness to my husband Al, who was starting in the business and working with HUD and VA Acquired Properties. Although Al worked for firm next door, Texas Properties, Al and Scott formed a business friendship of respect and courtesy and professionalism. Appreciated that so very much and it was so valuable to Al. Thank you for allowing me to share this.

Not a week goes by that I pause, think of the little house on Arkansas, Scott's office, or many many moments shared over the years...

It has been over 2 years now since your passing and I still catch myself thinking of you. I was raised around you and you were like family. You always had funny stories to tell everyone about Lindsey and I when we were kids. I never did get to say how much I appreciated you helping Lindsey and I get into horses which we still enjoy everyday or how I finally did end up getting my Real Estate License last year. You always had faith in me. You will never be forgotten. My family and I miss you...

Oh my Dear Lord, I'm just today finding out about Scott's passing. I read the current U.T. Arlington magazine and spotted Scott's obituary. Its my birthday today and my heart is broken and I sit hear crying quietly. I met Scotty about 1973-74 when he was 17 and I was 21 I think, he had a broken leg and was still determined to go on a Castleberry Choir trip with Mr. Charles Duke. Scotty, Gary Coker, David Browning (all UT Arlington Alumni) and others stayed in touch over these past...
