I am very sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of being one of Scott's Direct Reports at ADP. And for a boss he always kept a good sense of humor. He once invited me to an Executive Lunch, which for him meant a brisk walk over to Costco for a hotdog and a soda. His level of committment to a budget certainly taught me the value of coming in at or below projected quotes.

I was shocked and saddened when I heard of his passing. Please accept my condolences and the late timing of this note. I just heard the news. His humor, passion for new projects and committment to his team will be missed.

Scott had been a dental patient of mine for years. I always looked foreword to his visits with us. He even flew in to see me when he moved out of the country for a couple years. He was always so friendly and upbeat. I always was late with my next patients after seeing Scott because I had such a great time talking with him. I will miss you Scott and your friendly smile. Thank you for all your great advise and friendship over the years. Dave...

Scott left us all such a wonderful gift. The gift of knowing him. He taught us all what it meant to be a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, friend, co-worker, and community member. I'm sure I could go on. His funeral was so amazing with probably 20 people speaking about how he had influenced their lives for the better.
Yesterday I told my sister Paulette that I wanted to capture what people had said, are saying or writing to her so that we can keep it for years to come. So many people have said that they have asked themselves "What Would Scott Do" or even asked their employees this question after he left their employment. I want to preserve what people have said so that years from now, when we ask the question, "what would Scott do?", we won't forget. He bettered our lives and he will continue to better our lives in his death. We love him and miss him deeply. I thank him and his family again for sharing him with the world, and especially my family and sister.

I was very saddened by the news about my Uncle Scott. Though sad today, it is true that life is not about quantity but quality -- Scott definitely lived his life to the fullest! Scott had a unique zest for life and was always generous in sharing that with my family. "Because I have loved life, I shall have no sorrow to die." -Amelia Burr

Sharon and I were so shocked and sadden to hear of Scott’s passing. He hired me into Dealer Services in 1983 and was, without a doubt, the best “boss” I worked for during the next 18 years. He always had such a positive attitude and could bring out the best in anyone he worked with. He will be missed.

Our sincere condolences to Paulette and the Doyle family.

Just the day before getting the tragic news about Scott I happened to come across some things (while preparing for a move) that Scott had sent me when we worked together in the old ADP Dallas Region many years ago. Looking at Scott's handwriting...it seemed like yesterday. Scott was amazing. Interesting, fun, energetic, and always so committed. Wasn't long before we were great friends and I was off to Indy with him. Scott willingly shared the things he was passionate about. He made work fun and he loved to play. I will miss him so much. He left this earth knowing that he was loved...and he deserved it.

I was very saddened and shocked to get this news. I worked with Scott at ADP during his time in Dallas. I don't think I have ever known someone who was so upbeat and cheerful in my life. His personality was always so uplifting to anyone that he was around. He will be deeply missed and his family will be in our family's thoughts and prayers.

I am so sad to hear of Scott's passing. When he came to the Michigan location he always made a point to come and say hi. We talked about business but we talked a lot about racing! I will gladly honor Scott by making a contribution to the Earnhardt Foundation in his name.

I can’t comprehend just how sad you must feel
For the loss of someone you love.
This sorrowful time must still feel unreal
And you’re looking for strength from above.

I hope, from my heart, that your pain will decrease,
That your spirit will gain strength again,
And I pray that your faith will create inner peace
And that God will send blessings--Amen.

I had the pleasure of working with Scott for several years, at times reviving old memories of our respective families past in Milwaukee. He had a passion for his work and for cars that was a tremendous asset and made our Hollander clients accept his leadership from the start. My wife Linda and I are greatly saddened by his loss and extend our depest sympathy to Paulette and the rest of the Doyle family.
