Scott's love of animals was infectious and I am so grateful to him for hiring me to work at his pet hospital. I became a RVT because of him and worked in Vet Med for many years. Scott always had a smile and a hug. He will be sorely missed

Heartbroken to hear about the passing of such a wonderful man. I´ve been going to Scott for over 30 years for all of our Animals. His compassion and love towards people and all furry ones were second to none. He joined in on laughing with the crazy things our furry friends do and genuinely had tears in his eyes when needing to give them their angel wings. We were blessed to know Dr. Anderson and his legacy does and will live on with his staff and our furry friends.

I am devastated reading the news of Scott´s passing. He was my first boss and the memories made will always have a very special place in my heart! I will never forget how Scott would bring in an almond roca and ask me to run a fecal..he always kept things fun!!! Scott was a wonderful man and I´m fortunate to have known him. Rest easy, Scott.

I'm broken-hearted to read about Scott's passing. He was our family dogs' (Kyi-Leo dogs) vet since the 70s. He was the kindest, most gentle man who I considered a friend as well as a vet. I will miss not seeing him walking in West Portal. My deepest condolences to Diane, Kitty and Brady and Oliver and family. May all the animals in heaven welcome him. RIP Scott.

He was the nicest man. He was my vet since the 1970´s. All of us in the Parkside went to Avenues. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Thank you for your kindness to the two and four legged communities. May you rest in peace

I first met Scott about 50 years ago, shortly after he started Avenues Pet Hospital; when we bought my first dog, as an adult, in for a check up etc. Four dogs later, I'm very sad to hear of his passing. I can recall at least two occasions when he needed to do emergency surgery after discovering an additional issue, other than the reason, I brought a dog for something else. His demeanor at all times showed his love for animals. He was gentle, personable, in all my interactions with him and...

Dr. Anderson took care of all our pets over the last 30 years. I missed him when he retired but his practice still carries the spirit of his devotion and skill in treating animals. A big man with a big heart.
