Not sure what to say?

He was a wonderful friend to me when we were both in our early years of college. He was also exceptionally creative, as well as funny, warm, and clever in his speech. I still miss him after all these years.

I'm sorry for your loss, I recently was notified and am saddened that I couldn't send my condolences sooner. If there is anything my family or I can do, please don't hesitate to call. We wish you peace and courage to go on. Your family will be in our Prayers.

We read of Scott's passing in the St. Mary of Vernon weekly bulletin. We were very deeply saddened and wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy to your family.
