Not sure what to say?

Scott, it was my pleasure & humble act to add you to the Find-A-Grave community. Your family, friends, brothers & sisters in arms and the CFD are with you in thought always. Your death was not in vain. Your unfortunate passing has changed Motor Vehicle laws across the country. You are a hero among your peers. Repose En Paix. Karen.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Be assured that the Chicago Fire Dept. is with you in spirit.

Words can not express the deep sadness we feel on the loss of your husband and father. As members of the CFD family, we hope you may find comfort in those who love you and in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Scott is in heaven now with his brother firefighters who also died while serving others.

May God bless the Gillen Family and member's of the fire company he served with, as well as the Chicago Fire Department. My Uncle retired from CFD and we all prayed for him everyday he was at work. I know Scott is watching down on all his family, friends, and colleagues. The Cooper Family of Monett, Mo..
