I remember sitting in the auditorium with everyone and wasn't sure why the seniors had worried looks on their faces or why some of them were crying until I met up with my sister afterwards. I just want you to know that you're not forgotten, and you never will be. We miss you <3

I think about Scott every day. I can't ask questions anymore, but I am reminded of you constantly and I think it's you up there in heaven telling me to "smile like I mean it". You've given me a wonderful perspective on life, thank you. My prayers go out daily for friends and family, a lot of us still have heavy hearts. Love you babe, and you were right, my sister is cooler than me ;-) she loves hearing that story!

2 years, it is so hard to believe Scotty. We are all still missing and always thinking about you. Please watch over all of us and keep us safe. You are truly in a better place. God bless your family and see you again some day! xox

it's been a year and a half, and it's still hard to think about Scotty... i go to UF ,and every day that i get down, i think that i'm here and he never made it, and it's my motivation to continue doing well, because i know he would be doing well. i miss him so much, and i think about him everyday. mr and mrs goering, my condolences. i'm sorry and know that we all loved him very much and we're up here in gainesville missing him...

My prayers go out to the entire Goering family. I read all about Scott, after speaking with Don today.

What a hansome and fine, fine young man. I am so heartbroken.
