Not sure what to say?

Dear Mary Jane, Evan, Lauren, and Aunt Melissa-
I am at a loss for what to say, except to tell you how much I will miss Scott and how much I love you all. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences at this most difficult of times. Scott was such a quiet man whose dedication and selfless nature was always something that others could only hope to attain and everyone who knew him regarded him with respect and admiration. He was always willing to stop what he was doing and answer any questions even when he was really busy. I can still picture him in that thick blue sweater because it was so cold near his desk - even in the summer time. I...

Mary Jane,Evan and Lauren,
I am so deeply sorry of the passing of a great man. I first met Scott when he was 13 yrs old. Even as a teen, he was a very kind and gentle soul. I often have heard actions speak louder than words. Scott was the perfect example of this. He was such a kind sensitive man and was loved by so many. Family was the world to him and he made sure you always knew it. Such a loving husband and father and how proud he was of his family. He extended his love to extended...

Mary Jane, Evan and Lauren,

I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers as well as all of Scott's family. I hope you can find some peace and comfort in knowing what an amazing man Scott was.

I've thought of Scott often through the years, always with respect for his talent and easy-going personality. A truly good person.

I worked with Scott for many years at Arthur Andersen/Vertex and then occasionally at Jackson Hewitt. He always had a smile for the ole lady - my condolences on the passing of this gentle soul.

M.J. and family,

I met Scott in 1987. He joined a project that I was working on at Arthur. Although I was the incumbent, it was Scott who welcomed me. He brought me to your apartment after work (before any of the kids) where we sat outside and enjoyed the simple pleasure of a long-neck bottle of beer and conversation. Scott had a thing for simple pleasures.

He was best man at our wedding. With Val, we were lunch buddies for year after year. This is really geeky,...

Dear Mary Jane, Evan and Lauren, the news of your loss is very sad indeed. Reflecting on my years working with Scott, I remember his mild manner and willingness to help everyone around him. His sensitive nature was a blessing to everyone. I am very sorry for eveyone's loss and hope that you find comfort in knowing how much of an impact he had on so many people.

Mary Jane, Evan and Lauren,

My prayers go out to you all. Scott was a wonderful person who was always there when needed. I worked with Scott for many years. I remember the first time I met Scott and how impressed I was with his knowledge and skills. As a tax "geek" and not a programmer, Scott helped me succeed in a world I knew nothing about. I will be forever grateful to him.

May god bless you all.
