Not sure what to say?

Scott had a lovely presence, and he made people smile and laugh anytime he was around. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I wish the best for his family.

I know Per Anders wrote on behalf of all of us, but I wanted to let you know that you have all been in my thoughts and prayers these last few weeks.
I was thinking about the time Scott spent as a missionary in Kristiansand. As the missionaries lived in an apartment in our house at that time, we had almost daily contact with him and his companion. Scott was always upbeat, funny, caring, and he had a gift for the language. By the time he left Norway, he had been to several cities...

I worked with Scott at Compaq in the 80s and always appreciated his wit and friendship. He was a really great guy and I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

I enjoyed working with Scott during our time together. He handled a difficult situation and made the best of it. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this time!

Scott was a fantastic missionary in Norway. I had the privilege of serving with him and loved his spirit. He was always kind and positive. He is gone way too soon.

Scott was a master Norwegian teacher at the MTC when I was a missionary. I later had the privilege of teaching with him for a short time as a Norwegian instructor. Always a favorite, and always a great role model.

On behalf of me and my siblings I want to show our sympathy with you in your grief over the loss of Elder Holyoak.

He was a missionary that lived in our house for months during his mission.

As long as my mom Lillian lived she held Elder Holyoak so dearly and talked about him every time the period with housing missionaries came up. He had a huge impact on the whole family in his way of loving and helping and be close friends with us while on his mission.

Thank you Scott and family for taking in a wayward kid trying to find his way in life so long ago. Your life is an example for me to live up to. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our deepest condolences to the entire family. We've known Scott, Tracey and the kids since we all moved onto Wealdstone Drive almost 30 years ago. Scott was a sweet and kind family man who will be remembered fondly.
