Scott was brilliant and one of the nicest, caring people I have ever known. I loved his Christmas jacket. You are missed and grieved, Scott. It was my pleasure to know you.

I just learned of Scott's untimely passing. What memories washed over me, as I recalled our law school years and the first 4 years of our law practice when we were both young associates at Teilborg, Sanders & Parks. Scott teased me mercilessly -- which I deserved. He set a high bar in our group of ASU grads joining the firm that year. He excelled so quickly in his practice and really set a standard I tried to emulate. I haven't seen Scott in many years because I relocated away from...

I had the wonderful opportunity to not only work with Scott, but to also be a part of his beautiful family prior. I remember the day that Scott came to my home when he was dropping his son, John off to spend the weekend with my boys as he did many weekends for years. I was working in my front yard and Scott said, "Do you want a real job?" I looked at him and said, 'really?' I have a real job. He said, 'no you don't, you need to come to work with me and then you will have a real job.' That was...

Paradise found in Del Mar.
Yesterday we would have played golf together as a family and no you would not have given me any extra strokes...even though it was Mother's Day. I remember all of the special cards you wrote over the years. You are gone but not forgotten. I'm so thankful for saving so many wonderful voice messages that I can re-play, and smile when I hear your cheerful voice. Hugs Tabo!

Scott will surely be missed. We were roommates many years ago while living in the Theta Xi fraternity house at UCLA. Great time, to be sure! Although we did not see each other for nearly 30 years following graduation and moves to different cities, we finally did spend an afternoon together in the summer of 2015 on the beach in Del Mar during one of his family's annual treks to the Pacific. Reliving college memories and drinking cold beers with our feet in the sand . . . not a bad way to...

Scott will be greatly missed in the WC community. He always had a smile on his face and a great way of telling a story. Sending thoughts and prayers to his family and friends/work colleagues during this difficult time.
