Not sure what to say?

Dear Karen, Nicholas and Ryan,

I'd like to apologize for being unable to attend Scott's services. Although, I only met Scott once last year, he made an indelible impression on me. He was a good man, father, husband and very humble person. I am grateful for having the opportunity in meeting him. You are in my prayers.

Sincerely,
Norm Edinborough

Dear Karen, Nicholas and Ryan,

I ran track with Scott in HS and like so many of my other great friends during those golden years lost touch with him after we graduated and went our own ways. Scott and I ran together on the 4 x 400 relay team. We were fairly successful as Scott was a great runner. My favorite memory of Scott was one particular meet when we were behind going into the final leg. We were able to make up the huge deficit and win the race! I still remember sharing the...

To Scott, my brother-in-law,

From the moment we met, I knew that you liked my sister and she liked you.  It must have been the good looks and mischievous way about you as I sometimes see in Ryan.   This blossomed into a serious relationship and I got a chance to know you better.  You soon would visit CT more and more to see my sister and for awhile lived with us.  My father being the overly protective father and sometimes I must say a bit critical must not have been easy for you, but...

I had known Scott for a relitivly short time, Only about 6 years, but in that time he made the greatest impression on me. His wit and kindness, loyalty and goodness will be missed at our weekly gaming sesions.
He certanly was not how the world sees gammers.
He was the best of us.

Karen,

You and your boys are in my prayers. May God help you find peace and comfort.

Over the years we had moved onwards & I discovered Scott's passing by
accident - he was on the same page as my brother-in-law. Always a
laugh, always a smile, now & then a 'bon mot' for the essense of the moment. I will always treasure the gaming sessions with him, even into the wee hours of the morning. And then Scott moved on to a new chapter in a very different life; marriage. Our loss was your gain.My sympathies & best wishes to you all during these trying times.

Karen, Nicholas, Ryan,
We were shocked and saddened to hear of Scott's passing. We have fond memories of you and Scott and the children from our days at The Stork Club. My favorite memory will be of Scott dressed as Dracula at your Halloween party. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Karen, Nicholas and Ryan:
It is with great sadness that I've learned of Scott's passing. Nicholas, Ryan: Your dad and I were friends in high school. Many a day after school, when neither of us were otherwise involved in sports, we would go to his house (by the tracks) and play war games until it was time for for supper. We would then cease fire until the next day. I have to thank Scott for sparking my interest in the study of history and participation is historical reenactments. Take heart...

Please note your friends and family are here to help you through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are continually with you all.
