I worked with Scott when we were Navy journalists serving at Southern European Broadcasting (SEB), then changed to America Forces Network (AFN) at Naval Air Station, Sigonella, Sicily in the early 90s. Scott was a hard charger and one of my mentors as a newly-assigned JO there. Leaned a lot from him. He was also one of the smartest guys around. Remembering you on this 10th Anniversary of your passing. May you rest in peace my friend.

Scott is remembered with a smile by my children, whom Scott babysat for from time to time. My family and I send our warmest and deep felt condolences to the whole Kalbach Family. Please know that he will always be remembered and included in our prayers.

Scott was a great friend and I am going to miss him. We had so many good times aboard USS Nimitz and in Norfolk back in the good old days. My thoughts and prayers are with you Scott, and your family. Fair winds and following seas my friend.
