Scott and Megan were both a loving support of my sin-filled life at my lowest. I was angry at Scott at one time because he would not listen to other things that contributed to the mess of my life. The only thing he cared about was me and reconciling me back to our Lord Jesus Christ. I did not realize this until several years later. And I never told him this. I had the honor of working with Scott and his kids during their years in Colorado. I knew Scott as a loving and supportive dad. It was so fun being Anna's teacher and working with Scott and Megan. This shocking news is heartbreaking, and my love goes out to Megan, Anna, Sophie and Andrew.

At a time in my life when I felt so very lost. Your family was there for me. Scott was so loving and I felt safe in the little congregation in Louisville. Im stronger because I knew Scott. He new what real fellowships was and I started lol value those moments to this day. Thank you for asking for donations to mental health services in lue of flowers. I am mourning with your family over the news of Scott's passing. Scott was incredibly welcoming to me when I came to Evanston last year and certainly left a lasting impression. I am so very saddened to hear about Scott's passing. I have the fondest memories of him from high school. He was such a great friend and truly kind to everyone. My heartfelt condolences to his whole family.

Scott was nothing short of a Godsend to me in my time of need; he taught me much about keeping hope in dark times and always striving to improve myself. His mark on my life will never be forgotten. God bless you all as you soldier on through this difficult loss, you are constantly in my prayers.
