Scott and Megan were both a loving support of my sin-filled life at my lowest. I was angry at Scott at one time because he would not listen to other things that contributed to the mess of my life. The only thing he cared about was me and reconciling me back to our Lord Jesus Christ. I did not realize this until several years later. And I never told him this. I am so grateful for the Lord's conviction and mercy that he showed me so that I can be united with Jesus and one day see Scott...

I had the honor of working with Scott and his kids during their years in Colorado. I knew Scott as a loving and supportive dad. It was so fun being Anna's teacher and working with Scott and Megan. This shocking news is heartbreaking, and my love goes out to Megan, Anna, Sophie and Andrew.

Im a therapist and work with so many need that support. Thinking of you all. Beth Farrell (Jensen)

Megan and kids,
I am mourning with your family over the news of Scott's passing. Scott was incredibly welcoming to me when I came to Evanston last year and certainly left a lasting impression. I am still so grateful for the weekly discipleship time that we had, and for the various leadership events around Chicago that we attended. It was so evident that he deeply cared for my growth, the growth of the church, and sharing the Good News to the nations. Praying hard for your family, that...

Scott was nothing short of a Godsend to me in my time of need; he taught me much about keeping hope in dark times and always striving to improve myself. His mark on my life will never be forgotten. God bless you all as you soldier on through this difficult loss, you are constantly in my prayers.

Megan,
Scott was an awesome man and an incredible mentor of mine. I will never forget the times we shared together over coffee or lunch and him sharing his wisdom with me. He also shared the struggles of starting a new church called Christchurch. This truly blessed me in my journey to become who I am today. Although I went into law instead of full time ministry, Scott (and you!) left a great impression on both Tina and me. You both were there to provide us pre-marital...

Dearest Megan, I was devastated to learn of your very tragic and shocking loss. We walk in the same moccasins and have learned from experience that time, faith and support from all who love you will pull you thru, and a smile will return to your face when you think of all the wonderful moments and experiences you shared together. God bless you and yours, wishing you peace and strength. With deepest sympathy, Diane Schwarz
